HSC Tutoring Standard Mathematics
Short Courses Australia offer HSC students a 16-Week Exam Preparation Program (EPP) for Standard Mathematics.
This program focusses upon exam planning, historical exam revision and simulated exam practice under the tutelage of our team of secondary school teachers and recent HSC graduates.
Our objective is to support students up until exam day to achieve their best scored result.
Students attend a weekly 1 hour and 50 minute practical workshop that can be attended face to face at our Wattle Street, Ultimo or Church Street, Parramatta training centres or they can choose to attend via online virtual classroom.
Students also participate in a weekly 50 minute tutorial session, that is attended via online virtual classroom. The additional weekly session allows time for tasks to be reviewed, questions to be asked and to receive support.
Exam Preparation Program (EPP) Methodology
Short Courses Australia are established and experienced educators entrenched within the secondary school sector.
The EPP supports HSC students, to position themselves to achieve their highest HSC score possible.
EPP course structure is results driven by design, to enable high performance learning and outcomes. Students attend a weekly workshop and a tutorial, that focus absolutely upon the steps necessary to dissect examination responses, reconstruct them to the improved standard to then enable the best possible student response come exam day.
For the final 16 weeks of year 12, right up to the final HSC exam, Short Courses Australia will be there to support each EPP enrolled student:
- Learn from engaging & dedicated educators
- Critique examination responses of recent HSC high performance students
- Practice examination responses and clarify questions during a weekly workshop and a tutorial
- Receive individual feedback and be set targeted homework that focuses on areas for examination response improvement
- Complete weekly homework to consolidate learning specific to examination structured responses
- Participate in methodical exam preparation by following a process of simulated practice, response review, identified areas for improvement and targeted consolidation of learning.

HSC Tutors
Short Courses Australia employ HSC specialists to provide tutoring services. Our employment selection policy engages a range of HSC experience from current secondary school teachers to top performing HSC graduates to enable currency in best practice for assessment and exam preparation and navigation.
Student Portal
Students receive a unique login and have access to subject resources housed on student portal. Student can access course study notes and historical exams. A messaging service between students and tutors are available on the student portal platform.
Costs
The total cost for participation in the HSC EPP for Standard Mathematics is $1,680.00, that is $105.00 per week for 16 weeks.
Monthly direct debit plans are available and are completed in accordance with Short Courses Australia's fees & charges policy.
