Scott Merrick

Scott Merrick qualified as a Chef in the UK and moved to Australia in 1994 to work at The Grand Hyatt. Shortly after he helped open two of Melbourne’s largest hotels, Crown Casino and The Westin Melbourne.

His qualifications include Certificates in Commercial Cookery, Asian Cookery and Patisserie as well as a Diploma in Hospitality Management. Scott is also a qualified trainer and holds a Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment and for the past 12 years has also worked as a Culinary Trainer in Australia and South-East Asia including the Philippines, Vietnam, Malaysia, China and Korea.
